My guess is that they felt that they had to convert everyone to a single style so that the game would actually feel like a single entity versus just a mishmash of different themes... and, well, anime/manga-inspired designs are popular right now, so that's what they went with. I think it's neat to see the characters re-interpreted in a different way, as long as I don't think about how it's probably just a marketing ploy.

That's true. I think the game is supposed to be centered around the Ben 10 universe and all the characters are supposed to become a part of that world...

Even so, they changed Ben's style a little too. But Nickelodeon's gotten away with creating fun games with a mishmash of styles to I'm thinking that's not really it. It could be a marketing ploy.

I agree though...it is really fun to see characters interpreted in a different way. Everyone seemed more intense in anime style. Especially Dexter.

I can't believe they did it either. And I usually really like seeing characters in different styles too...but I really love all Cartoon Networks different styles...

That game...just looks a bit odd...O__o;;

Though I admit, Dexter in anime style amuses me.

Yeah...though there are games out there that do well that are a mishmash of multiple style. But it does make sense.

Amazing how different art styles look now days. I remember I found an Nightmare Before Christmas on manga form and reminds me too much of those "shojo" girl manga.

Well....Dexter does look older than his pervious self. Then again I am happy to see the old toons are back in action.^^ (I miss some of those shows...:<

Anime is very popular now days...XD, Good thing I like old cartoons like Droopy and Woodywood Pecker. (I get my ideas from those old cartoons by the by gone years.)

It is good to see them using their older shows. I really do miss Dexter's Lab...that was a great show. And it was sad when KND ended.

Anime is really popular now. I don't find that to be a bad thing, but I do find it kinda disappointing that they sell out their creativity. But I do have to admit the style is beautiful.

KND was an interesting bit...on how kids react to grown up matters. My fave was the part Number 1 was wearing a bra and thought was a code for "Battle-Ready-Armor"!

Nope nothing wrong.^^ Just an art trend going around and everyone just want to fit in. Go with the flow.
