Okay...so I just finished watching this. Started watching it on Comcast OnDemand, but they're too slow to put up the next five episodes, plus the dubbed voices suck...they suck so much! :XD: I usually don't hate dubs, but wow...this one is just bad!

So I looked it up on Veoh and finished it and...wow...It's happy and sad and so many different emotions at the same time. I'm not too big on the style of the show but the story is beautiful and the music is just so gorgeous. The only reason I kept looking at it was because I had no idea what was going on in the first couple of episodes, but everything ties together really nicely in the end.

Here's the theme song (granted that the link works...I've had problems putting youtube links in my journals before...). It's gorgeous.

I really guess it depends on what types of shows you like, but if you're into romance and violence and fantasy and sci-fi or any one of those things, you'd probably like it. Especially if you're into that idea of romance transcending space and time. Even if you're not into that, I recommend it.

I so have to draw Thoma and Helga and the Children of Befort (main characters of the show...didn't bother to tell you the character's names 'cause I'm lazy) some time...There are also some scenes I'd love to re-animate because I though so much more could've been done in certain areas. Of course that's a project for me to do after I graduate, or during my junior and senior years.

Now to watch another anime! Probably Higurashi no Naku Koro ni or Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan. Higurashi is such a freaky show! And do you now how much fun it is to say Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan? :XD:

That looks like a good anime. I've go so many things I want to watch right now though, but I'll definitely add this one to the list.

Yes, do watch it!

It starts out pretty slow, but it gets interesting after the first 3 or 4 episodes.

I saw part of the first ep and was intrigued! The guy who created and directed this also directed other movies I've really enjoyed, so I'm interested to see the rest.

My absolute favourite is Catnapped! The Movie ([link]), just because it's so bright and colourful and cute and crazy-awesome, and it's one of those movies that kids can enjoy but that (imho) adults can get something out of too. :D Another great movie is A Tree of Palme ([link]), which is a fantasy/scifi type retelling of the Pinocchio story. Very deep, and I thought it was marvellous. The animation is phenomenal on both those movies. I know that he's directed a segment on Robot Carnival ([link]), and I really want to check that out.

And here's his profile on Anime News Network: [link]

I've wanted to see Catnapped for a while! Now I really need to find it. And those other titles seem interesting too. :D Especially Tree of Palme.

I've never heard of that. I'll have to check it out.

Higurashi didn't appeal to me - I couldn't figure out what the story was supposed to be. It was, like, violent and slow paced. Normally, violent things are much faster paced. I might give it another chance, though, since I've seen later scenes that looked intriguing. - but I really liked TTGL.

Ah, well it is a hard show to understand. Nothing really gets cleared up until the end and until the second season. Actually, the second season ties up all the loose ends and makes sense of the whole situation. It's really a show I think that you'd have to have the patience to watch all the way through.

I have to finish it though, then I'll get to TTGL. And I told my friend's brother that I'd watch Soul Eater, so I have to watch that too. :XD:

Thanks for telling me. I'm used to stuff like Paranoia Agent and Ghost Hound, so I thought it'd be like that, but it sounds like its own thing. I really do want to check it out.

I keep hearing about SE. The character designs look really nice, but that's all I know.
