New Respect for McCain

Now I don't agree with McCain, but I now respect him more.

So some people probably know that there have been a lot of hatred being spewed at McCain and republican rallies. People shouting out that Obama's a terrorist, that he should be killed, one lady even said that Obama should be bombed. People might not want to believe me on this, but this is some pretty racist stuff. I've never heard this kind of hate of any other presidential election in my life. I've never seen this level of fear or ignorance of our history or just plain ignorance before.

But McCain did something that I really didn't think he would do. He tried to bring back the respect that he spoke so highly of earlier. The crowds are so far into hate though that I don't think they were completely listening. But the important thing was that he addressed it. It's terrible to shout out that you think someone should be dead at a campaign and I hope that people will listen to McCain, but I don't think they will.

I still have no respect for Sarah Palin though...

And I've just got a random question...anyone know how to keep a cat from attacking you? My cat's been really mean lately. I don't know why though...Doesn't look like anything's wrong with him physically, but he's just been very mean...

I've met McCain and he's a nice guy, but I still didn't like the majority of his recent attacks against Obama o_o; As for her...... I don't see her purpose in even running -_-' I wonder if anyone would vote for her if she ran individually

I don't see the her purpose either. I guess they wanted to bring Palin on board to win over Hillary supporters, but it backfired once people saw how uneducated she was on issues. I doubt if she ran on her own that she'd get too many votes.

I don't doubt he's nice. I've never met him nor Obama. I bet they're both really nice. But the attack just got to me especially with the reaction of his supporters. Should saying "Kill him!" or "Bomb him!" be illegal since it's somewhat of a threat?

I've had respect for Mccain (although I too disagree with most of his policies) but that's nice to know that he's not egging them on. Palin's his attack dog, though. I can deal with him but her..ugg..honestly u_u;

Aww I dunno about your cat :C I'm sure he'll get over himself though hah

His wife has also been his attack dog too which is sad, but it is good he's trying his best to calm his supporters and dispel any myths they have of Obama. I can deal with McCain too. I don't care if he does become president, but he'd better not get very ill or die and leave us with Palin.

I hope my cat gets over himself. He's just been so evil! :XD:

cats, just like, only really care about themselves and their interests. With them, you have to use "remote" control, so they don't associate negative things with you. The only example I can really think of would be sticky pads put on a table if you don't want your cat to walk on tabletop. I prefer dogs because they instinctually need to have direction in their life. If I were you, I'd read some cat behavior books.

XD I suppose we had to have a women somewhere to make them happy. Idk I'm like "Wow you're running for WHAT office?" She scares me for how uneducated she is T___T I'd cry if she was my VP.

I'd say that constitutes as a threat and should be illegal. He's already had someone attempt to assassinate him so..... >_> If you hear a kid say Ima kill u, no big deal.... People who keep saying it though for their age and status in life- I don't honestly think you should say that o_o especially to a person of such high status.

(It's rare that I respond to political topics, but...)

This election has been one wild roller-coaster, and I'll be so glad when the hype is over. I can deal with either being president, it's just I do not really approve of either. It's nice to know that McCain mentioned that. It's scary to know, though, and this cements my outlook, that if Obama is elected, there's a VERY good chance of him being assassinated.

As for Palin? The only worth I currently see in her is that she's not tainted by Washington. Biden has a very dirty past.

And for your kitty, well... I think he just wants to play. I have a very wryly cat, and whenever he comes to me, it's typical he wants to play. Occasionally walks around the apartment and meows, begging for attention. It's their way of telling you their bored. ;)

My thoughts exactly! I'd rather him not be president, but I can deal with it easily enough. But. Yeah. If he gets sick or something...I might have to cry. Palin in charge? I'm moving to Canada!
